In line with Oman Vision 2040 to enhance health security, we, the management of Muscat Medical Solutions, have decided to invest in the Salalah Free Zone. We are moving forward with steady steps toward development, embracing modern technology to manufacture and market high-quality eye drops and medical solutions. Our goal is to meet local market demands, create job opportunities to boost the economy, and expand exports internationally.

The company was founded by a group of highly qualified professionals with extensive experience and deep knowledge in pharmaceutical research and development. This was achieved through close collaboration with academic experts and under the supervision of a group of specialized European companies in the same field.

Factory Activities
The factory operates in two main sectors:
- The first focuses on the manufacturing of eye drops,
- The second specializes in the production of medical solutions, including glucose, sodium chloride, antibiotics, and other therapeutic solutions.
An agreement was signed in January 2025 for the establishment of the factory on a 6,000-square-meter site in the Salalah Free Zone, in addition to obtaining the necessary permits from the ministry and the Salalah Free Zone authorities.

Muscat Medical Solutions takes pride in being the only eye drop manufacturer in the Sultanate of Oman, positioning itself as a pioneer in this vital field. With increasing demand for eye care products in the local and Gulf markets, the company fills a significant gap by providing high-quality products that meet the needs of patients, hospitals, and specialized clinics.
In Oman alone, the medical solutions market is estimated at 120 million, while the eyedrops market accounts for 120 million, while the eye drops market accounts for 30 million, with an expected annual growth rate of 8% due to rising health awareness and increasing rates of eye conditions such as dry eye and allergies. By 2026, the medical solutions market in the Gulf region is projected to reach $1.2 billion, reflecting the growing demand for high-quality healthcare products.
These figures highlight the urgent need for locally produced, high-quality products, which Muscat Medical Solutions provides through its state-of-the-art factory in Salalah. We not only meet local market demands but also reduce reliance on imports, enhancing healthcare security in Oman and the Gulf region.
